形態特徵
- A prostrate herb; stems filiform, pubescent.
- Leaves opposite, ovate-elliptic to ovate, 1–2 cm long, 6–13 mm wide, apex obtuse, base rounded to subtruncate, margin entire, pubescent above, glabrous below; petioles 2–4 mm long.
- Flowers in pair, terminal, pedunculate; calyx tubular, 5-ribbed, lobes 5, linear-lanceolate, persistent; corolla tubular, the tube 5-ribbed, ca. 10 mm long, short-pubescent, lobes 5, deltate, ca. 3 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, hirsute along margin; stamens 5, included, with filaments 1.5 mm long, adnate to the base of the corolla tube; ovary 2-celled, ovules numerous per cell, style filiform, ca. 12 mm long, stigma bilobed.
- Fruit a compressed capsule, broad-obcordate, loculicidal; seeds many, minute, granulate.

- 台灣 : known only from Hualien and growing on moist stone of mountain ridge at altitudes between 500 m to 1700 m.
